Cosmetic Launch Roundup: June 23-30, 2020

Maybe it’s the warm summer or the fact that we need a distraction from the world’s chaos. Whatever it is, this week saw a lot of launches, with a lot of brands to discuss. Grab a snack, kick back and enjoy this week’s Roundup.

Park Avenue Cosmetics is making itself comfortable on this blog and for good reason. The brand launched the gorgeous Persephone: Goddess of Spring palette, named after the Greek goddess of the underworld. The palette features 18 vivid shades and costs $34.99 online.

Mamacita Cosmetics’ lash game stepped to a new level with the launch of 12 lash styles. The new styles are: Muñeca, Poderosa, Boss Babe, 1994, Princess, Nina Fresa, Dreamer, Baby Girl, and Angel Eyes. Each style costs $10 and ranges from natural flirty to full dramatic. Makeup Depot USA showed their feelings with the Emotion collection. There are three gorgeous palettes to choose from: Bonita, Mi Corazon, and Patrona. Check your emotions before swiping a palette for $20 online.

Kara Beauty finally launched eyeliner and mascara! The Lashcious mascara ($7.99) is a deep black and curls lashes for a false lash effect. The Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner ($6.99) has a fine tip for sleek winged liner looks. Both products are up for grabs on Kara Beauty’s website.

Give Me Glow Cosmetics launched another foil eyeshadow, this time a stunning gun metal grey shade called Pencil Me In. This eyeshadow is available for $7 on Give Me Glow’s site.

Red Rose Lashes celebrated beautiful friendships with the Pretty Girls collection. Inspired by the owner’s aunt and her best friend, the collection includes an eyeshadow palette ($27), a lip gloss ($10), and two lash styles (Miriam and Adelyna; $15 each). Karity was a #mood this week with the launch of the brand’s first mascara. Bold Mood applies smoothly with added benefits of 94% more volume and 92% more length. The dramatic mascara costs $12 on Karity’s site.

Morphe collaborated with professional dancer and Dance Moms alum Maddie Ziegler to let your imagination run wild. The collection includes the Imagination palette ($25), Lip & Cheek kits (3 shades; $18 each), and a Dew Bomb face gloss stick ($12). You can purchase the products on Morphe’s site, in Morphe stores, or at Ulta.

Colourtory expanded their lip gloss lines with two new collections. The Mariposa (butterfly) collection has three lip glosses (Flutter Me, Rose Butterfly, and Butterfly Kiss; $5.50 each) with cute packaging that matches the names. Two are flavored: Flutter Me is vanilla and Butterfly Kiss is watermelon.

The other collection is the Icepop Galaxy collection and features two glosses, Stardust (pink and bubblegum flavored) and Stellar (purple and cotton candy flavored). These glosses cost $4 each. Both collections are available on Colourtory’s site.

Wet n’ Wild kept eyes looking snatched with the MegaLast Breakup Proof liquid eyeliner and the Waterproof Retractable Gel eyeliner. The liquid eyeliner lasts up to 16 hours and costs $5.99. L.A Girl is all about a soft pout with the Lip Mousse lip colors. Coming in 10 vivacious shades, the mousses apply like butter and dry down without feeling sticky. The lippies are available on LA Girl’s site and in Ulta stores.

E.l.f Cosmetics launched the lip balms that just won’t quit. The Ride or Die Lip Balms serve a treatment for chapped lips and provide hydration plus a little plumping effect. There are four shades (Tough Cookie, Mighty Mint, Boss Berry, and Just Peachy) and cost $5 each on E.l.f’s site.

90’s Baby Cosmetics combined the iconic Betty Boop with makeup and whipped up the Betty’s Diner eyeshadow palette. The 15-pan palette features scrumptious shades in matte, shimmer, and glitter finishes. Betty’s Diner is available on 90’s Baby’s website and costs $32 regularly but the brand is offering the code “90SBABY” to reduce the price to $25.

Boujee Babe Cosmetics makes fabulous glitters so why not continue to stack them up? The brand answered this question by launching two glitter stacks, the Tropic Chunky and the Deep Sea glitter stackers. Each stack costs $20 and can be found on Boujee Babe’s site. W7 Cosmetics has another dupe for us and she’s a beauty! The Queen Bee palette is a dupe for the Urban Decay Honey palette but Queen Bee only costs $9 on W7’s site.
