Absolute mayhem this week regarding the amount of launches but chaos, in this case, is a wonderful thing. We have a couple brands back after a hiatus, there is a new brand on the Roundup, and some of the mainstays are back to maintain their place on Indie Clique. Grab a snack, kick back, and enjoy this week’s releases.
As you might have noticed, this blog is about affordable makeup and skincare. I’ve decided to mix two articles together and give an update on my collection and jump on the “shop my stash” trend.

Glamlite rounded out its Dessert collection with the scrumptious Cake palette. This palette has 20 bursts of color with the shades being named after popular cake frostings or flavors like chocolate, red velvet, and strawberry. The Cake palette costs $40 and is available for pre-order on Glamlite’s site, which ship out on Valentine’s Day.
Colourtory started 2020 strong with an assortment of new items. First to launch was the Coffee Shop palette, a pretty neutral toned palette costing $18. Then came the four new lash styles Guiselle, Mathilde, Penelope, and Amèlie, each costing $5. To hold these lashes, a Flower Lash case ($5) was introduced and quickly followed by a leather bracelet ($5) and a Lipgloss Keychain ($7). Everything is on Colourtory’s website.
Alter Ego launched something other than eyeshadow this week. The brand now has Matte Liquid Lipsticks. The lipsticks come in six shades and cost $6 individually or you can grab the bundle for $28. The lipsticks are available online.

I managed to snag a box this time from Glamlite Cosmetics after failing the previous times. The other boxes had sold out quickly so the founder/owner, Gisselle, stocked 10x the amount of boxes and gave us two options! The VIP box arrived yesterday and it’s filled with goodies with the retail value being $180 but customers only paid $40 (cha-ching!!).
We can all just agree RIGHT NOW that everyone loves saving money and this time of year is the best time to splurge on new stuff (if you can afford it). I’m going to try and help all my fellow makeup addicts with this list of brands that are having Black Friday sales!!! On your mark, get set, SHOP!
Ending the month of July with a bang, these brands all have one thing in common… They all released full collections!
It’s the last week of June and brands are making the best of it with these launches. Monochromatic and neutrals are in while color is sitting on the beach, chilling and waiting for its comeback.
No intro this time, mostly because I can’t think of anything to say other than this week’s launches will be nostalgic, make you hungry, and want to travel…
